The Walgreens Sitz Bath is useful in the treatment of hemorrhoids and other conditions associated with the anal or genital areas. Lightweight, durable and easy to clean, it fits all standard toilets and includes a convenient on/off control clip.
BASIN PREPARATION: Raise the toilet seat and cover. Place Sitz Bath basin on the bowl with the "Front" designation towards the front of the bowl. Fill the basin with warm water (100-105 degrees F or 38-40 degrees C) 1/2 to 2/3 full. Insert the tubing through the front or rear entry hole in the Sitz Bath basin. Snap or secure the tube into the channel in the basin bottom.
BAG PREPARATION: Position the flow control clamp toward Sitz Bath Bag. Using clamp close tubing by sliding clamp over tube from wide to narrow side. Open the top of the bag and fill it with hot water (105-110 degrees F or 40-43 degrees C). Place or hang bag above Sitz Bath.
USE: Sit in Sitz Bath for 15-20 minutes. Maintain water temperature by adding water by opening the clamp, (Overflow will drain through openings at the back of the basin). Once the desired temperature is reached, close the clamp. After treatment, empty and rinse the basin.
